RCMP confidential drug tip line

St. Albert RCMP Confidential Drug Tip Line, founded in 2012, is still operational. This drug tip line provides residents a confidential way of playing an active role in keeping our community safe. The confidential drug tip line was set up in 2012 and allows the public to call in tips about drug houses, drug trafficking and drug dealers. Officers from the RCMP Drug unit regularly check the mailbox for this drug tip line, but no one will know any information about the caller.

The confidential voice mail service provides people the opportunity to report drug tips while not publicly revealing their identity. Callers are encouraged to leave their name and call back number so investigators may contact them in order to gather further details, but leaving a contact name and number does not mean the caller must give up the privilege of remaining confidential. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish to do so.

The drug tip line voice mail is not set up to replace the St. Albert RCMP complaint line. Callers who require a police response are still required to contact the St. Albert RCMP directly. The confidential drug tip line is just one more way for residents who want to provide drug information in an effort to keep St. Albert safe. Drug Dealers are not welcome in St. Albert. Anyone wishing to provide drug related information is asked to call the St. Albert Confidential Drug Tip Line at 780 460 DRUG (3784).

St. Albert RCMP encourage the public to report any criminal or suspicious activity. Reports tell us where to look, who to look for, and where to patrol in the future. If you see a crime in progress, dial 911. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
