RCMP attempt to identify owner of found property

On February 21, 2023, a large sum of money was found and turned over to the St. Albert RCMP. St. Albert RCMP hope to find and return the funds to the rightful owner.

If you have lost a large sum of money in the last week or so, you are asked to contact St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700. You will be required to provide the amount and a description of how the money was kept, to prove ownership.

Found property which is turned over to the RCMP is held for 60 days, if unclaimed, the property is either given back to the individual who found it or relinquished and destroyed locally.

St. Albert RCMP encourage the public to report any criminal or suspicious activity. Reports tell us where to look, who to look for, and where to patrol in the future. If you see a crime in progress, dial 911.
