Residential Structure Fire - Updated 2019/06/28

St. Albert RCMP have charged two individuals in relation to the residential structure fire on June 26, 2019 at 20 Forest Drive.

Duane Irwin (38), of no fixed address, was charged with the following offences:

Chloe Martin (21), of no fixed address, was charged with the following offences:Both individuals have been remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear in Morinville Provincial Court on July 4, 2019.

On June 25, 2019, at approximately 11:30 p.m. St. Albert RCMP were dispatched to a residential structure fire at 20 Forest Drive.

St. Albert RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) along with St. Albert General Duty and RCMP Forensic Identification Section (FIS) are assisting the St. Albert Fire Marshall with the investigation. Two individuals have been arrested and are in custody. The investigation is on going and more information will be provided when it becomes available.

No one was in the residence at the time of the fire and there were no reported injuries.
