RCMP attempt to identify owners of found property

Throughout the year found property is regularly turned over to the St. Albert RCMP and sometimes it is difficult to identify who the owner may be. St. Albert RCMP encourages citizens to call and report items lost or stolen to the detachment at 780-458-7700, so files can be created and if the property is recovered, owners can be contacted.

Found property items received by St. Albert RCMP which are difficult to identify ownership are:

Found property which is turned over to the RCMP is held for 60 days, if unclaimed, the property is either given back to the individual who found it or relinquished and destroyed locally.

St. Albert RCMP encourage the public to report any criminal or suspicious activity. Reports tell us where to look, who to look for, and where to patrol in the future. If you see a crime in progress, dial 911.
