RCMP Drug Unit investigation leads to an arrest

St. Albert RCMP Drug Unit, assisted by ALERT Edmonton, St. Albert Traffic Unit and St. Albert General Duty, conducted an investigation into methamphetamine trafficking in the spring of 2022 that lead to the arrest a suspect on May 26, 2022.

Kendrah Wong (34) of Spruce Grove, Alta. was arrested and charged with the following:

• Trafficking methamphetamine x 2
• Possession of property obtained by crime x 2
• Failure to comply with a release order x 3

At the time of the arrest Kendrah Wong had outstanding warrants for 58 charges. She was held for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing and was remanded in custody. Kendrah Wong’s next court appearance is June 14, 2022 at Edmonton Provincial Court.

A search warrant was executed on a vehicle seized as part of the investigation.
The investigation lead to the following items being seized:

• 6.64 grams of methamphetamine
• 445 ml of GHB
• 7.17 grams of psilocybin
• Three cell phones
• Fraudulent identity documents.
