RCMP investigate arson on pathway

On May 16, 2023 at approximately 12:55 p.m., St. Albert RCMP responded to a brush fire on the pathway across from Bellerose Composite High School. St. Albert Fire Services were able to extinguish the fire before it spread to neighbouring houses. St. Albert RCMP spoke with some people in the area and learned a male was seen running north towards Giroux Road away from the bush line where the fire was.

The individual is described as:

• Teenage male
• Approximately 6 feet tall
• Brown shoulder length hair
• Dark clothing

St. Albert RCMP continue to investigate but have not identified who may be responsible for this arson. St. Albert RCMP ask anyone with information regarding this pathway fire to contact St. Albert RCMP Detachment at 780-458-7700.
