RCMP seek public assistance regarding 2 crimes: robbery and arson

Robbery:

On June 1, 2022 at approximately 4:50 p.m., St. Albert RCMP responded to a call at the St. Albert Centre Transit terminal regarding an 18 year old male who had been assaulted by several other males. The suspects jumped the male a second time around the same location and took his cell phone.

St. Albert RCMP believe there were several witnesses and video footage to the assault/robbery and are asking anyone who may have information regarding the incident and/or has video evidence to contact St. Albert RCMP @ 780-458-7700.

Arson:
On June 1, 2022 at approximately 7:10 p.m., St. Albert RCMP received a call regarding a fire in the tree line behind Sir George Simpson School. It is believed that the fire was intentionally set by someone.

St. Albert RCMP are asking anyone who was in the area using the pathway and/or playground, that may have information regarding who set the fire, to contact St. Albert RCMP @ 780-458-7700.
