RCMP charge females with possession of weapons

On February 11, 2021 at approximately 8:45 p.m., St. Albert RCMP were at the Shoppers Drug Mart located in the 600 block on St. Albert Trail following up on some information from another investigation when two unknown females in the store were believed to have committed theft earlier at a different Shoppers Drug Mart in St. Albert and it appeared one of the females had a knife on her person.

St. Albert RCMP members reacted quickly and arrested both females without incident. One female was in possession of two knives, a baton and several rounds of ammunition while the second female was in possession of bear spray and unopened cosmetics.

Whisper Beauregard (29) from Wabasca, Alta. and Alexandria Derocher-Luedtke (29) from Wetaskiwin, Alta. were charged with the following:

Judicial Hearings were conducted and both Whisper Beauregard and Alexandria Deroche-Luedtke were remanded into custody and will appear in St. Albert Provincial Court on February 16, 2021.
