Armed Robbery at Scotiabank

St. Albert, AB – At approximately 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, August 20, 2018, St. Albert RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at the Scotiabank on Hebert Road in St. Albert. Immediate attendance by RCMP found that the lone suspect had left the area with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is alleged to have entered the bank, shown a black handgun and demanded money from the teller. St. Albert RCMP General Investigation Section, RCMP General Duty Section, K Division RCMP Forensic Investigative Section and K Division RCMP Police Dog Section were all involved in this investigation.

RCMP are now asking for the help of the public in identifying the man responsible for this crime. He is described as:

No one was physically harmed during this incident, and St. Albert Victim Services were called to provide personal support for everyone impacted by this crime. Victim Services will continue to provide free services as this investigation proceeds.
