Request to Identify Suspect from Stolen Vehicle

St. Albert RCMP are asking for the help of the public in identifying a suspect who is alleged to have stolen a minivan from the Sobey's parking lot at approximately 4:20 p.m. on December 24, 2018. The suspect had a collision with another vehicle, left the area and abandoned the stolen van at the parking lot of the St. Albert Inn. Security video shows that man entering the Inn and then leaving out another door.

The suspect is described as:

• White or light skinned
• in his late 50's,
• approximately 5'6'' in height,
• wearing reading glasses
• wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black shoes and holding a green baseball cap that may have had a "camo" design
