RCMP charge youth with Mischief

On October 22, 2022, St. Albert RCMP received a complaint of extensive damage to the washrooms at the skate park on Sturgeon Road, which occurred on October 21, 2022 between 4:00-10:00 pm. In the men’s washroom, the toilet paper dispenser was damaged and the soap dispenser was ripped from the wall. In the women’s washroom, the ceramic sink was ripped from the wall, rolls of toilet paper jammed down the toilet bowl, and the soap dispenser was ripped from the wall. The total damage to the washrooms was approximately $8000.00.

Through the course of the investigation and with the use of video surveillance, St. Albert RCMP were able to identify and charge a fifteen year old male youth of St. Albert for Mischief over $5000.

St. Albert RCMP encourage the public to report any criminal or suspicious activity. Reports tell us where to look, who to look for, and where to patrol in the future.
