RCMP attempt to identify owner of found property

On April 17, 2023, a large sum of money which was found on March 1, 2023, in the parking lot of Christ Community Church was turned over to the St. Albert RCMP. St. Albert RCMP hope to find and return the funds to the rightful owner.

If you lost a large sum of money in that area of town on March 1, 2023, you are asked to contact St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700. You will be required to provide the amount and a description of how the money was kept, to prove ownership.

Found property which is turned over to the RCMP is held for 60 days, if unclaimed, the property is either given back to the individual who found it or relinquished and destroyed locally.

St. Albert RCMP encourage the public to report any criminal or suspicious activity. Reports tell us where to look, who to look for, and where to patrol in the future.
